Putin`s nuclear threats do not frighten Ukrainians, meanwhile, we are used to promoting our own myths which cause a panic in the information space. Due to the war, the moldy narrative about the flood in Kyiv got new accents. Unscrupulous information sources triggered a panic just because they were seeking hype. Known Kyiv Telegram channels, and even Russian propaganda, joined them. Nevertheless, Ukrainians` healthy collective mind and reaction of the authorities were stronger, despite first they gave the initiative to panic. We reveal, who and why escalated the situation and comfort people.

We show that the head of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov himself was almost certainly behind the rumors about his dismissal. Now we analyze the communication crisis regarding the Museum of Maydan that happened at the end of 2019. Museum`s fruitful communication drew the audience`s attention, nevertheless, was not convincing for the part of the future visitors. Simple messages of the museum`s critics were much more efficient. Various politicians have played a significant part in this crisis, they used this topic for engaging the museum in their narratives.
