Snap elections to the Verkhovna Rada and polarised views about the hryvna: what Ukrainian media promiced for 2020

Traditionally, in January we summarize the forecasts on the current year published in Ukrainian media at the end of the past year. Let`s see on December, 2020 which of them proves true. This time the moderate forecasts were the most popular. Systemic political crisis in Ukraine, which was expected in summer, is not considered as a real chance now. The same is regardind the economic issues: instead of recession or collapse of the hryvnia, some experts expect only a slowdown in GDP growth and the moderate national currency decline.
